VIRTUAL RETAIL CREATIVE DIRECTION PROPOSAL - WON
LULULEMON
Proposal design to win a contract with Lululemon for a Virtual Retail experience.
Create a proposal and virtual experience mock up centred around Lululemon’s Team Canada collection. The pitch must use both creativity in it’s translation of the collection, and demonstrate the ability to produce high fidelity renderings of the products.
MY ROLE
As the Senior Creative Designer at Emperia I was assigned to lead the creative response to the RFP and the production of high fidelity recreations of their products. With the focus of the collection being on the Winter Olympics, I aimed to create an experience that celebrated the teams athleticism within the iconic landscape of Canada. I designed the experience to elevate the collection to a Canadian version of Mount Olympus where the guest would discover the products within a Team Canada pavillion.
Harnessing the collections use of bold reds and molten blacks and deep reds, I sought to contrast those with the white snow. Taking the canadian maple leaf as a the floorplan for the pavillion, I designed it with light bending glass and reflective surfaces to warp and transform light around the space and to reflect inwards the views from the outdoors.
As well as defining the user journey, art direction and product placement, I also developed concepts for a mini game skiing entrance to the experience as well as an environment switch that would transform the space from a white alpine environment to the materials of the collection itself.
